Train time!

Here are some picture from our Sunday afternoon. We went to Penitentiary Glenn and rode the trains. They also had some bird shows and other stuff to do, but we went mostly for the train. Once again these pictures are in no particular order because it is too hard to put them in order.

James and Jeff sitting on the tiny train behind me.
Eli kind of sitting in my lap but in his own little chair.

Here we go! :-) You get to feel like Giants!

We had about 20 minutes to wait in line for the train, so while jeff held our spot in line, I took the boys a little closer to go see the them. Kudos to anyone who can guess which shell I am wearing? :-)

After the train rides we went to the wildlife center and saw some birds. Mostly hawks and owls.

Gobble Gobble

What is James' wingspan?

"I see Birdies mommy, I see Birdies!"

Blue HEron

We weren't supposed to take pictures while riding on the train, so these are not the best shots, but you get the idea.

Some of the trains are coal powered!

It was good afternoon and best of all it was FREE and not a far drive!

I just loved this Bluebird's tail. I thought it was so different looking.

James and Otto

This is James and Otto. He is the Soccer player who headed up the Soccer Camp that James did this week. James lasted the week of playing soccer for 6 hours a day. He had fun even though it was pretty much 90% girls and about 10% boys. he was by far the youngest and smallest, but the coaches said he held up his own. Asked if he wanted to do it again next year, he said no, his feet hurt too much. :-) We'll see.

Potty time!

Now if the little one was actually putting something in there, then I would be really excited. Lately this has become a nightly thing. the two of them 'go' together and they usually want me nowhere near them. Fine by me. It is funny to listen to the conversations that go on. :-)

Soccer Feet

This is what paying soccer for 6 hours a day will do to your feet in hot weather! :-)

Tomorrow is water balloon fight at soccer camp. Should be interesting to see what his feet looks like after that. I have 30 balloons done, 120 to go. Yipee!

Quotes of the day

James: "Eli, please don't eat my piggies once they completely look like raisins."

Eli (quote for the week): " Come on!"

James (said to me while in his bed with Eli lying next to him): "Mommy, I think I need to spend less time with Rocky. I keep thinking Eli is a dog lying next to me and I keep petting him."

I love my boys! One day I will put pictures on here again.
