Memorial Day Weekend 2011

Not too much happened for the Dubins in NEO this weekend. Jeff wasn't home and the rest of us just spent some time relaxing, cleaning, and spending some time outside. Not necessarily in that order. :-) Here are a few pictures from the weekend. It did start out with the every other weekend trip to Loews to do the Build and Grow. This week was a plane. James had fun like always, but sadly no pictures from that event.

On Sunday we went to the park to get outside. I always like to get a picture of one of the boys on the bridge. I just love the shot of them all alone walking.

Sadly, our walk didn't last too long. Mostly my fault for not putting proper shoes on them. They may have lasted longer if they were not wearing sandals. At least we have the whole summer to try again. After our very short walk we played some at the playground.

On our way back to the car, I tried to take some nature pictures, and these were the best I could do. Sadly we did not see any deer this trip, when normally we do.

The rest of the Sunday was spent watching the Indy 500 and doing most of my 12 loads of laundry that weekend.

Monday was a pretty nothing excting day either. I cleaned up the Splash table and the kids enjoyed playing in the water on this hot Monday. Allergies were bugging me too much today, so I didn't spend too much time outside. The kids had fun and were super wet! :-)

The weekend ended on a high note. James' tooth finally came out!! It had been hanging in there for probably two weeks. James did not want it to come out, but it finally did while eating corn on the cob. I will have to remember that trick for next time. Looks like the Tooth Fairy will be visiting tonight :-)

My Son James

I walked into James' room a couple days ago and this is how I found him. Nice shirt, pj bottoms, sitting in a chair ontop of his bed in the middle of the afternoon. Gotta love him.

MacBeth's Muse for the day: James still being able to surprise me.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Since I can not figure this blogger thing out and mine seems to be different than everyone else's, my pictures will not be in order. I have given up on that. Anyway, here are some more pics from the great time I had in Nebraska.Doesn't Abby look beautiful on her First Communion Day!

This is a pic of Aunt Jenny and Missy getting Abby ready.

This a pic of Abby at her Piano rectial. She sounded wonderful and did a great job.
On Saturday Jackson had soccer that we went to before Abby's piano recital. Jackson looked liked he had a lot of fun, plus I got this great shot of him!

Nebraska Trip 2011

I have been away awhile, but I have been busy and do not have a cool phone like my sister to be able to post pictures straight from there. I have to do it the ole fashioned way by taking the sd card of the camera and plug it into the usb port. :-)

Anyway I went out to Nebraska from Friday April 29th through May 3rd. Even though I missed the Royal Wedding on William and Kate I thoroughly enjoyed my me time on the plane. I LOVE FLYING! The main reason I went to Nebraska (beside needing a few days from Stinker butt one and two) was to help celbrate my niece Abby's First Communion.

Here are some random pictures. Not all of these pics are from the first day, but they are all from my phone. :-)

These two are so cute in their pink jeep! :-)

Yep that is my Dad aka Grandpa on the swings with the kids!

Aunt Jenny helped Abby with Julie. She needed some curls in her hair too for the big day.
This is William. I do not need to say anymore. :-)

Melissa and I were playing the basketball game of HORSE. Abby decided to help us keep score with her sidewalk chalk. Hmmmm, I don't know how to take this. :-)
